Our Backstory

Original Cow was originally started by a guy out of Bethel CT who writes traceability software for meat businesses all around the world. He saw that

there were so many quality small meat processors out there who just didn't get the proper distribution their quality products deserved. With the onset of "natural" retail grocery stores, we saw that people were paying way too much for "healthy" meats from large processors. Thus, the birth of Original Cow. We bring local natural, grass-fed, pasture raised, sustainable beef right to your door-without the big price tag.
